We are looking for a motivated & detail oriented individual. Preferably someone who is interested in pursuing a career the accounting field. This would be a perfect position for an accounting student. Preference will be given to applicants who have an accounting and/or construction background. Beginning salary is $12.00 - $15.00 per hour doe.
By the end of the training period, the applicant will understand basic accounting concepts such as the chart of accounts, reconciling and how to read standard financial reports. The applicant will learn how to use Microsoft Office, Dropbox and go through extensive training for QuickBooks Online.
Duties include QuickBooks data entry and reconciliations from simple to more complex, as well as other basic office duties such as filing, etc.
Job requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, organization and follow through is a must, applicant must also be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work independently.
Due to the sensitivity of information, the applicant will be subject to reference and background checks.
The position is part-time at 15-20 hours per week. We are willing to work with school and/or child care schedules and create a fixed weekly schedule with the employee between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.
